Our students have become very busy preparing for our Christmas Party; they’re practicing songs and making Christmas decorations. This week everyone made a Christmas stocking.
Penguin Class students made “snow” with “marbling” on their stocking and stuck on a colorful Christmas tree which they had decorated with many stickers. Starfish Class students ‘sewed’ their stocking, and they also learned about “big”, “medium” and “small” sizes of circles when making the snowman for it.
Dolphin Class students made a Christmas wreath with 10 pieces of origami paper and stuck it on their stockings. (They became so frustrated when they needed to assemble all the pieces to make the wreath; they needed the teacher’s help, too.) Dolphin Class students also wrote a letter to Santa.
