This month our students have started learning about many different kinds of transportation. Some of our boys love to talk about this topic, and when they saw the manys in the classroom, they were so excited.

The Dolphin Class students first talked about different kinds of transportation, how people get to school/work, and sorted them into air, land, and water categories. Then they took two days to build their own car. They painted the car body and also made a steering wheel, wheels, mirrors, bumpers, gears, etc.

The Starfish and Penguin students painted a big bus! They used paintbrushes and paint rollers, and they stuck on wheels. After we attached chairs, they all sat on the chairs and drove while singing “The Wheels on the Bus” song.
