This was such an exciting and busy week. We decided to buy a huge pumpkin from the flower shop, and then we did pumpkin carving. The students had never done it before, so when they looked inside the pumpkin, they said “Wow!” We asked the students to take out all the seeds from inside the pumpkin. They also put colorful pegs into the pumpkin. (Carving is too dangerous for the students to do, but they can put in pegs.) Then when we turned off the room lights, there were so excited. They again said “Wow!”
Then, on 31st, they all wore a Halloween costume and held their trick or treat bag to go “Trick or Treating”. For the past few weeks, they had practiced saying: “Trick or treat, give me something good to eat.” So when we went Trick or Treating, they could say it in a loud, clear voice. They all got so many sweets! But some of the older students said they needed more sweets!?
